Q. What if I lose my connection in the middle of writing a Writejob?

A. WriteJob.com holds an open session until you receive your completed job description via download or e-mail. Therefore, if you lose your connection before you finish, logging in with just your name and e-mail address will bypass the payment screen and take you back to the exact place from which you were dropped. JobDescription.com will even remember the information you entered up to the point you lost your connection.

Q. What is a cookie and why do I need to accept it?

A. A cookie is simply a way for the computer to "remember" the options you select as you customize your job description. The cookie we send you will also allow you to log back onto JobDescription.com and pick up right where you left off if you are disconnected for any reason. This cookie will expire after 24 hours. If you do not accept the cookie, you will not be able to use JobDescription.com.

Q. What if I don't find the job I'm looking for?

A. WriteJob.com allows you to search the job library before you pay. If you don't find the exact job you are looking for, you have invested nothing. However, keep in mind that many job titles have similar duties and responsibilities; so use the search capabilities thoroughly before determining your job isn't listed. Also, remember, the JobDescription.com job library is regularly updated to provide the latest job descriptions for business and technology.

Q. Do I have to fill out all of the sections of the Job Description?

A. WriteJob.com has been designed to walk you through the process of creating a customized job description step by step in just minutes. However, you are free to jump to, or skip, any sections you choose. IMPORTANT: Consult the Advice button within each section for guidance on which sections are legally important to include. This could be helpful if you are ever involved in an employee dispute.

Q. What do RTF and HTML mean with regard to the document format I want to receive?

A. RTF stands for Rich Text Format and is generally associated with word processing documents. This format will retain text attributes, such as bold and italic, as well as spacing and text formatting attributes. You can open your RTF job description in your word processor and it will retain the same look on the screen it had when you completed it. HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. This is the way text is coded to be displayed in a Web Browser. An HTML-formatted job description is ready to be posted on your Web Site or Intranet.

Q. How do I get a receipt so I can expense my transaction?

A. When you download or e-mail your job description, we include a summary of the transaction containing all the information necessary for your expense report.
